Thank you both for the insight and the emotions that go along with those experiences that stay with us. A friend was fixing up his wooden motorsailer to join us on a trip to Cuba and he passed suddenly last year. We will visit some day in his honor and for my own tremendous curiosity.

It's saddens me that there is such animosity between so many nations. This is my favorite audio of yours. Will share!

Thank you for listening, Janice. This was a difficult episode for us to make. It is hard to see past the injustices of fate and see people who have dreams and ambitions but are shutdown by circumstances. It is also encouraging to watch strong people adopt and live a happy life despite everything. I hope you stop by Cuba on your way to South America.

I very much enjoyed hearing you guys recount that experience. I have not yet been to Cuba, but I fully relate to the emotions Alexandra expressed regarding the particular struggles and joys people face, as they do in many parts of our world. It's good to feel that impact, however hard it hits you.

Thank you, Brad. You know how to dig below the regular spread offered to tourist. If you find a way to do that in Cuba, as you have done in many other places you visited, you will find the richness of culture and perspectives that will illuminate novel ideas. Like most on this world, these folks were dealt a short end of the stick, but many here do a lot with it.
