A great experience to share. I lost my best frie d from college yesterday and he was one of those that you could, mostly certainly, just come back together. After years. Good friends are hard to cultivate, and we must keep them, however that works!!
Thank you for reading, Deb. Glad I rose above the threshold of terrible ;-). With the podcast, we receive many exalted compliments on Alex’s reading. She has a talent - and an opportunity.
Love that last line!. In my older age I don't have the energy to make friendships work. I HAVE to work at with family and there will be things to work out with my partner. Friends should be easy. Time just seems to go so much faster now. I have a few friends that I haven't see in years but I know it'll be all good when we share some time.
Friendships take effort for sure. Fortunately, many friends are like comets, for a time, they travel far away but always circle back to get close to you.

Agreed. Although, it seems easier at times to make fast new friends than to overcome an inertia of silence, but should not be.
Your sentiments are lovely and ring true. Your writing ain’t bad either. (Loved the narration ❤️)
